Many of the health concerns cited by teachers after returning to class during the pandemic remain, said Richard Bozza, executive director of the New Jersey Association of School Administrators.

“There’s a lot of support for the law, but I have not heard of very many places where people have said this is really helping me out,” said Bozza said, referring to discussions with school administrators.

...Millville Superintendent Tony Trongone said he would support extending the offer beyond the end of the school year.

“It will take between two to three years to increase the pool of new talent entering the field,” Trongone said.
