Executive Administrative Assistant: A Critical Professional Role
For the 2024-25 school year, we have created a four-part series of professional development offerings that will serve the interests and needs of the Executive Administrative Assistant. Whether the Administrative Assistant works in a small, medium, or large district, the responsibilities are critical to the support of the Superintendent and the running of the school district.
Each presentation will be topical in nature, based on the typical issues that arise during the school year. In addition, we will utilize a feedback survey prior to each session to ask those planning on attending to offer topics and/or areas of importance to include in the session.
Attendees should be prepared to share their concerns and challenges, and discuss possible solutions, based on the experiences of others who face similar issues.
Developing a Trusting Relationship, Understanding the Role, Expectations, DOE/State Reports, Professionalism, Past Practices, Communication, Liability, Time Management, HR Tasks are just a few focus areas and goals.
We have brought together a panel of seasoned professionals representing Executive Administrative Assistants, Superintendents, HR Directors, and Board Attorneys.Panel:
