Christie administration unveils details of teacher evaluation proposal
Richard Bozza, executive director of the New Jersey Association of School Administrators, echoed concerns about technical flaws in tying adults’ ratings to children’s test data. Fifty percent of a principal’s evaluation would be tied to various measures of student achievement; the rest would rely largely on a superintendent’s observations of leadership.
“They’re trying to serve the cake before it’s baked,” Bozza said.
