NJASA NAMES DR. MICHAEL SALVATORE

NEW JERSEY 2019 SUPT. OF THE YEAR

Dr. Michael Salvatore, Chief Education Officer, Long Branch Public Schools, was selected New Jersey's 2019 candidate for the AASA National Superintendent of the Year Award by NJASA.

An NJASA panel selected three 2019 Regional Superintendent of the Year winners prior to selection of the State Superintendent of the Year. Salvatore was selected the Region II winner. The other Regional Superintendents of the Year joining Salvatore are: Region I winner – Dr. Michael LaSusa, Chief Education Officer, School District of the Chathams; and Region III winner - Dr. Carol Birnbohm, Chief Education Officer, Lenape Regional High School District.
