THE POWER OF LEGAL INFORMATION:
A 6-PART SERIES PRACTICAL ISSUES TO KEEP SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS CURRENT & COMPLIANT
NJASA has designed for 2024-2025 a 6-Part Series entitled The Power of Legal Information Series. Where the NJASA Legal Department and other professional associates will focus upon current and critical legal issues facing school districts. The goal is to attract members to attend by shortening the sessions to 60 minutes and provide focused, specific legal discussions. To that end, NJASA has designed a comprehensive professional development series listed below.
All sessions will be virtual, via Zoom. ACTIVE NJASA MEMBERS ATTEND SESSIONS AT NO COST. NON-MEMBERS PAY $145 PER SESSION.
Students
Combining best practices with sound strategies that are reasonable and practical will be the focus of these sessions.- September 17, 2024 Student Discipline-Present Impact - SESSION 1 AGENDA

Governance
Spend time with us as we identify appropriate and reasonable solutions to Governance issues, such as:- February 13, 2025 Board Relations-Ever Changing
- March 4, 2025 Nepotism and Social Media Pitfalls
Personnel
These sessions will focus on: State law related to tenure, seniority, RIFS, employment matters and non-renewals.

- May 5, 2025 Non-renewals-Laws and Pitfalls
