THE POWER OF LEGAL INFORMATION:
A 6-PART SERIES OF PRACTICAL ISSUES TO KEEP SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS CURRENT & COMPLIANT
NJASA has designed and expanded The Power of Legal Series into a 6-Part Series. The goal is to attract more members to attend by shortening the sessions to 60 minutes and provide a focused, specific legal discussion for our members. To that end, NJASA has designed a comprehensive professional development series listed below.
All sessions will be virtual, via Zoom. ACTIVE NJASA MEMBERS ATTEND SESSIONS AT NO COST. NON-MEMBERS PAY $215 PER SESSION.
Students
Combining best practices with sound strategies that are reasonable and practical will be the focus of these sessions.- September 19, 2025 Student Discipline-Present Impact

Governance
Spend time with us as we identify appropriate and reasonable solutions to Governance issues, such as:- February 10, 2026 Board Relations-Ever Changing
- March 12, 2026 Nepotism and Social Media Pitfalls
Personnel
These sessions will focus on: State law related to tenure, seniority, RIFS, employment matters and non-renewals.
