  • Empowering Women: A Vision Board Party Hosted by
Passaic County Women in Learning Leadership

Passaic County Women in Learning Leadership (PCWILL) is a women’s leadership organization that was developed in 2020. The mission of PCWILL is to EMPOWER, ENCOURAGE, and EMBRACE women in leadership across Passaic County. We foster a culture that values diversity and inclusion while providing a variety of events and experiences for all members. Through professional development, book clubs, panel discussions, self-care activities, team-building activities, and networking opportunities, we strive to support each other and be the best versions of ourselves.

On February 1st, Passaic County Women in Learning Leadership (PCWLL) hosted an inspiring Vision Board Party, bringing together over 30 women from diverse backgrounds. The event served as a platform for participants to cultivate their dreams, aspirations, and goals through the creative process of vision boarding.

Vision boarding holds significant importance in personal development and goal setting. It provides a tangible representation of one's desires and serves as a reminder of the path toward achieving them. By selecting images, words, and affirmations that resonate with their aspirations, individuals can manifest their dreams into reality.

The atmosphere at the Vision Board Party was electric and filled with excitement. Participants shared their stories, aspirations, and visions for the future, fostering a sense of camaraderie and support among the group. Through engaging conversations and collaborative activities, women found encouragement and inspiration to pursue their goals confidently and determined.

As the women of PCWILL gathered around tables adorned with magazines, scissors, glue, and colorful paper, they embarked on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. With each cut and paste, they brought their dreams to life, creating vision boards that reflected their deepest desires and aspirations.

From career goals and personal achievements to health and wellness aspirations, the vision boards were a testament to the multifaceted dreams of the women in attendance. Each board was a unique expression of individuality and ambition, showcasing the diverse paths towards success and fulfillment.

The Vision Board Party exemplified the power of community and collaboration in nurturing personal growth and empowerment. By coming together in a supportive environment, women were able to harness their creativity and passion to visualize and manifest their dreams.

As the event drew to a close, the women of PCWILL left with a renewed sense of purpose and determination. Armed with their vision boards as visual reminders of their goals, they embarked on their journeys with clarity and confidence, knowing that they have the support of a community of like-minded women behind them.

The Vision Board Party hosted by Passaic County Women in Learning Leadership and co-sponsored by Lisa Schleer (LMS Educational Consulting) and Lisa Schmucki (Founder and CEO at edWeb) was not just an event — it was a celebration of female empowerment, sisterhood, and the limitless potential of women to achieve their dreams. As we look towards the future, let us continue to uplift and support one another on our paths to success and fulfillment.

PCWILL looks forward to two more upcoming events:  our PCWILL Tea Party on May 3rd and our PCWILL wellness lunch and learn on May 21st.
