    Part I:

    Monday, November 9, 2020 - Students

    Combining best practices with sound strategies that are reasonable and practical will be the focus of this session. Current trends in anti-bullying prevention and investigation, particularly as they affect students with disabilities, recent legislation, First Amendment rights, gender equity, and Title IX issues will be addressed.

     

    Part II:

    Thursday, January 21, 2021 - Governance 

    Spend time with us as we identify appropriate and reasonable solutions to Governance issues, such as:

    How to respond to school ethics violations, ethic requirements for Board members and administrators.  Board relations, how administrators can avoid common pitfalls, how to handle a "strong" board and proper handling of executive session issues.

     

    Part III:

    Monday, April 26, 2021 - Personnel

    This session will focus on:

    State law related to tenure, seniority, and employment matters.  Discussion of new laws and recent changes to laws that impact employees and/or labor matters.

    • All sessions will be held either at NJASA Headquarters (920 West State Street, Trenton, NJ 08618) OR virtual via Zoom
