  • New Jersey Superintendents Receive National Recognition from NSPRA

     Carol Birnbohm Diaz

Two New Jersey Superintendents were named to National School Public Relations Association’s Superintendents to Watch program for the 2017-18 school year. Dr. Carol Birnbohm of Lenape Regional High School District (Shamong, N.J.) and Nicholas Diaz of Union Township Schools (Hampton, N.J.) were named to this impressive list of education leaders.

The Superintendents to Watch program recognizes superintendents who use communication technology in innovative and effective ways. These superintendents must have fewer than five years of experience as a superintendent and possess dynamic, fast-paced leadership with strong communication at its core. They engage and inform their school communities with new communication technology tools combined with tried-and-true techniques.

The program, in its second year, is sponsored by West (SchoolMessenger solutions).

Birnbohm and Diaz were both featured in NSPRA’s newsletter, NSPRA This Week, which is distributed to its 2,000 members. Read more about Dr. Birnbohm here and Mr. Diaz here.
