Curriculum & Instruction Overview

Committee Structure – The chairperson of the Curriculum & Instruction Committee shall be appointed by the NJASA President. The committee shall consist of superintendent and non-superintendent representatives from each county and the NJASA Director of Professional Development.
Committee Member Role and Responsibilities – The Curriculum & Instruction Committee shall formulate a definition of curriculum and instruction in terms of a construct and vision for the future; identify programs and share information with local districts; and research, analyze and develop positions on various curricular and instructional issues.
Meetings – The Committee shall meet at least three times throughout the membership year.
