Committee Structure – The chairperson of the Professional Development/Seminar Committee is appointed by the NJASA President. The Committee consists of twenty-one county members and the NJASA Director of Professional Development.
Committee Member Role and Responsibilities: The Professional Development/Seminar Committee provides input from the field as to vital topics of concern to New Jersey educators. It helps to develop program content and suggests speakers for the seminars and workshops. Committee members assist with the creation and implementation of professional development activities and support and publicize the programs on the county level.
Meetings – This Committee shall meet three times in the membership year.
