Committee Structure – The chairperson of the Professional Development/Seminar Committee shall be appointed by the NJASA President. The Committee shall consist of superintendent and non-superintendent representatives from each county and the NJASA Director of Professional Development.
Committee Member Role and Responsibilities: The Professional Development/Seminar Committee shall provide input from the field as to vital topics of concern to New Jersey educators; shall help to develop program content and suggest speakers for the seminars and workshops; and shall support and publicize the programs on the county level. Committee members are expected to assist with the creation and implementation of professional development.
Meetings – This Committee shall meet at least three times in the membership year.
